Art expresses the human spirit and dignity of man. Through it, we find order out of chaos. As Carl Jung, one of the greatest psychoanalyst and minds to ever walk the planet, emphasized, “In all chaos there is a cosmos, in all disorder a secret order.” Art is a means of making sense of this chaos and the world around us, both for the artist and the viewer. For the artist, creating is a way of expressing; and for the viewer, perceiving and understanding.
Man is an instrument from which the spirit of creativity can flow, thus creating is our duty and a means of ennobling humanity. Opening to the spirit of creativity and acting on it, in whatever form that takes, enables us to reflect the perfection and grace of the universe and beyond just as the great master artists of our civilization have done. Art is a channel in which we can strive to reach our highest spiritual attainment while on earth and has enabled man to realize his ideals, making them accessible in tangible form for all of humanity to experience. This has been the case as far back as ancient Greece.

Art of the time portrays the modern world and current human experience. It stirs emotions and can be intended to provoke. Through art, we are able to not only release our feelings about ourselves in relation to the world around us, but also liberate ourselves from society’s restraints. Exercising our freedom of expression, we have the ability to improve the human condition through creative revelation. We can provoke society into change by using creative expression.

Through the inspiration of Art, we are able to find who we are. We have the power to imagine and create our own world, chiseling away all the senseless stone to reveal the beauty and perfection within. The expression of beauty has been presented throughout time by vastly different cultures in various forms. Its essence is constant regardless of the instrument used or the form it takes. With an advanced consciousness, attainable through art, all of life is sacred and beauty is apparent in all forms.
